Last week I tried to described in detail, what generally happens in Sidhartha Extension, New Delhi. This week I will append some photos of the leelas of Baba. This was the last Thursday of the year and so there was special leela of Baba, as it generally happens every year. Honey was oozing from the Pratima of Baba. Udi was already oozing since 25^th , being the X-mas, Water from the charans was oozing since morning. Honey started oozing from the Pratima when Mrs Gupta started her pooja. She immediately placed a katori below the charans of Baba in order to collect it. We all could see the drops of the honey dropping from Charan into katori. From one photo on the wall sugar crystals were dropping. During the prayan of Sai Satcharitra after the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and noon aartee, the sound of crystals falling on the table was so much that it disturbed the prayan and devotees started collecting the crystals which were falling on the carpet, after falling on the table. The prayan of chapter 8, got disturbed again when the episode of Baija Bai came. Mrs Gupta and some devotees became so much sentimental that they started weeping. The prayan was stopped till they became normal again.

Mrs Jyoti Behl sang 2 Bhajans at the end. She sang four Bhajans again when the statue of Baba was being cleaned of the honey at 2:45 PM with warm water in a Thali. This water was also collected and it was having a different fragrance altogether. It became necessary to clean at this time being the Lunar eclipse and Chootak stating from 3 PM.

From One photo on the glass wall the color of skin of Baba became very red, The Aura around head was also very bright. I am appending the photos of this photo, besides the photo of the photo from which sugar crystals were falling.

This Thursday Mrs Gupta completed the prayan of Sai Satcharitra chapter 8 as the regular feature. Next Thursday she will be reading the Chapter 9 in the normal course. All those devotees who want to pray along with us by doing the prayan of chapter 9 of Sai Satcharitra and the recitation of Sai Amrit Vani may write to us on email id veena_gupta_ 2000@yahoo. com for inclusion of their letter in the list. Mrs. Gupta prayed for all the devotees .

On Thursday, 24^th Dec evening Mrs Gupta cleaned all the photos and the statues and removed all the Udi. On Friday the 25^th Dec morning Udi again started oozing from the photo of Baba and the statue in the mandir only. Only OM and cross were formed. But in the evening the words RAM and Sham were also formed. On Sunday the additional figures of Ek Onkar and one Chand Sitara were also there. Photo attached.

Sorry for the delay, for this week’s report, it was due to some close visitors that I could not spend much time on the internet. Happenings of these extra days are also included at the bottom of the letter.

There is demand from the new members of the group to know in detail about the happenings in Sidhartha Extension, New Delhi, and how we do the Sai Amrit Vani and the Prayan of Sai Satcharitra. Today I will try to describe in detail but I am afraid that I may not be able to do full justice to it, as I am very poor in writing and some happenings and feelings can not be described, but only can be felt.

Mrs. Veena Gupta is devotee of Sai Baba since 1978 or so, When she was working in the Meditation Centre of Maharishi Mahesh yogi in Golf Link. I joined her actively only after retirement from Govt. of India in 2003. I was working as Adviser, (Joint Secretary) and was able to attend the recitation of Sai Amrit Vani, only when there was no meetings or important work at that time. Group recitation of Sai Amrit Vani started around 1998, when Udi started oozing from the Photos. The frequency and the quantity of oozing of Udi increased gradually and now almost every day it is oozing. New devotees are welcomed only on Thursdays for the Sai Amrit Vani. We all devotees recite together along with the cassette played on the music system. Prayers for all and Prayan of Sai Satcharitra is done by Mrs Veena Gupta and all other listen to it and pray themselves also.

There were near about 60-70 devotees present during the recitation, but few old devotees came afterwards. Chetan and Vaishali were here from Florida. In the morning they came from Ahemdabad to Delhi and returned by the6:20 PM flight. They could not spend much time here, as they left their small children in Ahemdabad. They brought a 12 inches Statue of Baba , made of pure Makrana Marble, which they specially purchased from Jaipur and brought it here from Ahemdabad. Udi started oozing from this statue also as soon it was dressed up and placed on the table in the mandir room.

If one person has a feeling or see a thing, you can say, it is his /her illusion, but many people see the same thing and have the same feeling, what you will call it. Today Thursday many devotees felt the presence of Baba on the chair next to where Veena Maa was sitting. All of a sudden there was a jerk and devotees felt like a earth quack during the recitation of Sai Amrit Vani. Devotees started looking towards the chair, Then there was a loud male voice from this chair side reciting the Sai Amrit Vani. Although all the other male devotees were sitting on the other side of the hall. This voice was there for quite some time.

This was the last but one Thursday of the year. For the last few years, in the last Thursdays honey was oozing and dropping from the photos/Statue. This year sugar crystals were dropping from the photos on the wall. They were falling on the table and few of them were fell on the carpet below. This oozing and dropping continued even after the pooja. When ever there was some silence in the hall, we were able to hear the voice of sugar crystal falling on the table.

We have a big photo of face of Baba on the glass wall. During the Noon aartee we saw three lines of chanden appearing on the forehead of Baba. It formed gradually and it was wet

When the devotees noticed it and it dried up in front of all of us.

These were the new leelas of Baba this Thursday, other leelas, which we enjoyed were as follows. It may look repetition, but these are the leelas of Baba.

1. Udi started oozing from the different photos and Statue of Baba at different stages of time from Monday onwards. Hindi words `RAM' `SHAM' `OM' were formed with Udi on one photo in the mandir and another photo on the wall. Sugar Crystals were oozing from the photos on the walls.

2. This Thursday also, the Holy Water started oozing from the Charans from Thursday early morning. A Thali was placed in the night of Wednesday itself, as water starts oozing from the early morning. Thali was emptied several times. The taste of water was similar to gulab jal and kewara mix. This water was also given to the devotees and again the Thali was filled with water. Photos of this leela have already been posted in the photo section of the yahoogroup.

3. Lap of Mrs. Gupta was filled with lots of Udi during the prayers. Udi was in the folds of the falls of the Sari also.

4. It has also become regular leela of Baba that many other devotees also had Udi on them, in their laps, their shirts or cloths.

5. Several devotees had Udi in the books of Sri Sai Amrit Vani.

6. Bhog , which was placed before HIM was partially eaten. Part of Bhog was on the lips of photo and statue of Baba. Different items were there on lips in different photos. Parts of the remains in the box were given to the devotees who offered that item of bhog to Baba.

7. Almost all the boxes of Bhog, which were kept on the table were blessed with Udi. Udi was there even on the boxes which were down below the other boxes.

8. The feeling of Presence of Baba was very strong and many devotees felt HIS presence.

9. Many photos, papers and documents etc. which were placed before Baba and the same were blessed within no time.

This Thursday Mrs Gupta completed the prayan of Sai Satcharitra chapter 7 as the regular feature. Next Thursday she will be reading the Chapter 8 in the normal course. On Thursday evening Mrs Gupta cleaned all the photos and the statues and removed all the Udi. On Friday the 25^th Dec morning Udi again started oozing from the photo of Baba and the statue in the mandir only. Only OMand cross were formed. This Thursday again, all the Leelas of Baba were there, like oozing of Udi from the photos of Baba on the Walls and in the Mandir, Statue inside the Mandir and Water oozing from the charans of Baba. Two devotees brought rather big Moorties of Baba. It is requested that devotees may bring only new and small Moorties only, if they want to bring for blessings. This Thursday Mrs Gupta did the prayan of Sai Satcharitra chapter 5. Next Thursday she will be reading Chapter 6 in the normal course and chapter 37 to mark the 100^th Anniversary day of the beginning of the Chawri Pooja and Procession. For the new members of the group, I would like to inform that every week, on Thursday we do the group recitation of the Sri Sai Amrit Vani, Prayers to Baba, Noon Aartee and Prayan of a Chapter from Sai Satcharitra. In the recitation all the devotees sing along with the Cassette and with books in hand. We see the leelas of Baba and Devotees feel the presence of Baba in many ways.

Every year we also try to have Sai Bhajan Sandhya besides the regular group recitation of Sai Amrit Vani on every Thursday. This Sai Bhajan Sandhya we are doing for the last 15 years. Last time it was on 12^th April 2009. This time we are thinking of having the Sai Bhajan Sandhya on 13^th Feb 2010. It is done on limited scale and only invited devotees are welcomed in it. Tthe Maximum capacity which we can have is only 1000 devotees.

This Thursday again, all the Leelas of Baba were there, like oozing of Udi from the photos of Baba on the Walls and in the Mandir, Statue inside the Mandir and Water oozing from the charans of Baba. After a gap of 6 Thursdays, group recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani was again done at Sidhartha Extension, New Delhi. Out of 6 Thursdays, On one Thursday it was done in the car on way from Shirdi to Pandarpur and 5 were done at Hyderabad. Baba Blessed us on all the Thursdays. Even in the moving car Udi came on the lap of Veena Maa. Even on earlier many occasions it has happened that Udi comes in the lap of Veena Maa when she concentrates and reciting Sai Amrit Vani at 11 AM on Thursdays, while travelling. At Hyderabad also it all went very good and devotees from very far off places took part in it.

We reached Delhi on Tuesday and Udi started oozing from the photos and the statue of Baba from Wednesday. In addition to the usual Leelas of Baba this Thursday there was a very unusual leela of Baba. One devotee couple brought a new Sai Satcharitra and a photo of their ailing father. Both the things were placed before Baba. Photo was on the Sai Satcharitra. Another devotee brought a idol of Baba and it was already there in the mandir. To the surprise of all it was seen that Udi was there on the Sai Satcharitra and photo was covered with Udi. And the most interesting part was that Baba’s idol was turned towards the photo at about 70 to 80 degrees. As the Sai Satcharitra was kept on the side of this idol of Baba. This idol of was also having a lot of Udi on Itself.

Mrs Gupta completed the Sai Satcharitra last time. So from this Thursday she again started the prayan of Sai Satcharitra from chapter 1. Next Thursday she will be reading

chapter 2.

This Time there was lots of Udi on Mrs. Gupta and many other devotees also had it.

Mrs Gupta had the Udi from head to the toe besides lot of it in the lap.

This Thursday, was our last Thursday in Hyderabad this trip and may be because of that, there was large gathering of devotees for the group recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani. A couple came from Chennai for it. there were large number of devotees present for the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani. Baba was also ready to receive them. There were almost all the Leelas of Baba and HE has not left anybody and blessed all . All the Document, photos, Statues, lockets placed before HIM were blessed in no time. Jal was also oozing as usual from HIS charans, After the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani Mrs. Gupta Read the extracts from the Sai Satcharitra, prayed for all and distributed the Prasad, Udi and the Jal. This week also I attach few Photos taken on that day. This was our last session of the group recitation and from 5^th Nov onwards it will be done in Delhi at Sidhartha Extension. Mrs Gupta presented the Asth Dhatu Pratima of Baba to M/s Renuka, which was kept in front of us for the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and Udi was oozing from it.

Earlier in the week a Moorti of Baba arrived fromJaipur. It was of Makrana marble.

As soon as it was opened, Udi Started oozing from the moorti. Photo attached.

This Thursday, there were large number of devotees present for the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani. There was a large group of 35 devotees, who came from Puri, Orissa for the recitation. There were in all more than hundred devotees present here in Hyderabad. It seems Baba was also ready to receive them. There were almost all the Leelas of Baba and HE has not left anybody and blessed all . All the Document, photos, Pratimas, lockets placed before HIM were blessed in no time. Jal was also oozing as usual from HIS charans, but we had to arrange a few bottles for them, as they were without the bottles and asked them to share the Jal at their place. After the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani Mrs. Gupta Read the extracts from the Sai Satcharitra and distributed the Prasad, Udi and the Jal. This week also I attach few Photos taken this day.

Today is the Nirwan day of Baba, as per the Calander. On 15^th Oct 1918 Baba left the mortal remains. On that day it was Vijay Dasmi. After the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani Mrs. Gupta Read the extracts from the Sai Satcharitra in which HE mentioned that HE will always be there and He does not require anything to go any where. His presence was felt even here today. All the leelas, as mentioned in earlier weeks were also there today. I append some more photos taken today of the leelas of Baba. The wedding Cards brought by Mr. Thota were blessed with Udi immediately on placing on the table. Photo attached.

Last Thursday I tried to gave some details about the Leelas of Baba here in Hyderabad. Some photos were also attached. Same photos have also been uploaded on the face book. This Thursday again the same Leelas of Baba were there. HE ate the Bhog, Blessed with Udi and Jal (Water) from HIS Charans. Mr Ravinder Thota from Canada brought a Makrana Marble statue of Baba. Mrs. Gupta put a beautiful dress on Baba and Baba in His Turn gave the Udi even while Mrs Gupta was dressing HIM. I attach the photo of the statue of Baba. Baba also gave Udi from other photos as well. I am attaching some more photos from the mandir of our son, Anuj Gupta.

On Thursday 1^st Oct 2009 the Hyderabad was as good as Sidhartha Extension. Baba was present here also, as we could enjoy all His Leelas here also. Mrs Gupta, after visiting her ‘Maika’ (father’s house) that is Shirdi, came to Hyderabad. This Thursday was the 1^st Group recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani here, so I will try to narrate the Leelas of Baba, which I am able to see, although it will be only a fraction of the actual happening and the feelings, which can not be described. So I will also try to take the help of photos, which I could take after the recitation in spite of the crowd around Veena maa.

In Hyderabad my son has a small, yet separate room for mandir of Baba. One Statue of Baba is there in the drawing room. As soon as, we arrived home from Shirdi in the night of Thursday, Udi started oozing from this Statue. On 27^th Sept, a day before Vijaya Dashami, We rearranged the setup in the Mandir. Fixed some new photos and rearranged the others. Anuj Gupta, my son also has got a 1 feet Makrana Marble Statue of Baba from Jaipur. He has also Marble charans from our house in Sidhartha Extension, from which water used to be oozed. From the Statue and the photos of Baba in this room, Udi started oozing from different times. From the Marble Statue of Baba Udi started oozing only from Wednesday. We were expecting that Baba may bless us with honey from this Moorti, but HE blessed with Udi.

On Thursday, We only shifted the Statue of Baba in the drawing room to the Hall, where we were expected to do the group Recitation. Devotees started coming from 10 AM.

Many Devotees brought Prathimas of Baba and all were blessed. I could take the photos of these Pratimas, which are appended. I have also appended the photos from the mandir and the charans also. Water was oozing from the charans. A thali was already kept below the charans on the night of Wednesday itself in anticipation of this. This is also visible in one photo. One devotee, a family friend, prepared Bhog of Imli rice for Baba. Bhog was offered in the bowl but we found some grains of it on HIS dress and also near HIS feet. Photos appended.

During the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and Prayan of extracts from Sai Satcharitra, lap of Mrs Gupta was also filled with Udi.

On 20th Sept, we started for Shirdi by Goa Express from Delhi and reached the Hotel Kalpataru, We had already booked four rooms there. Our son had already reached there a day before by car from Hyderabad. This time our group was of 10 members. We all stayed in the same Hotel Kalptaru. Deeksha’s parents, her Mama, Mami and cousin were also there with us. All wanted to go to Shirdi along with us. We all had darshan of Baba at about 2:30 PM and were received by the representatives of Baba, in the special chamber of Baba. We were also given each a Narial (Coconet) and the Udi . We also deposited the Dress in the office, which we brought for Baba and our request that Baba should wear it on next day morning Kakad Aarti The request was also accepted in the temple office. A person from PRO office led us for the evening Aarti and we attended the Aarti in the first row, before Baba. These are the experiences one can not even imagine, what to say of writing about them. Getting such treatment from Baba. It is the reciprocal which Mrs Gupta has for Baba. Mrs Gupta treats Baba as her father and thinks that she is coming home to her parents at Shirdi.

In the morning again at 3:30 AM a person from PRO office led us to attend the Kakad Aarti and we all attended the aarti from the 1^st row. As soon as Baba was being given the holy bath, devotee had to move out after taking the darshan and we being in the front had to move out first. But before we move out we saw that our dress has been brought out for Baba and from the window and on the TV screen we saw, Baba wearing our dress. I can’t mention the feeling which we had at that time. We stayed in Shirdi for 4 days and attended all the 4 aarties and even repeated some. We visited all the places in Shirdi and even visted Sai Dham, Chauhan Baba’s temple and saw the Leelas of Baba there. This Sai Dham is about 23 Kilometers from Shirdi and about 5 Km from Kopargoa.

On 23^rd we started for darshan of Bhimashanker Jyotilingam, it is about 200 km from Shirdi. There also, see Baba’s Leela. The lingam is usually covered with a silver cover and is open only for 20 minutes in the day from 12 noon to 12:20 PM only. All the other time people worship lingam and Darshan with the cover on. We reached there at about 11:45 AM . No doubt we had to hire 4 palkies as we were told that the step are much more and some of us would find it much difficult. So we hired 4 of them. Each palki is carried by 4 person. At 12 the silver cover was removed and we had the Darshan of the original lingam. At 12:30 we, all the 4 couples had the special pooja at the lingam ( Covered with Silver cover). That day we could not attend any Aarti at Shirdi.

On 24^th , Thursday we again attended the Kakand Aarti and took permission of Baba to leave for Panderpore, We again visited Dwarka Mai and Chawri and Mrs Gupta sat there for few minutes, prayed there and took Baba’s permission. Soon we along with our son’s family left for Panderpore and others left for Aurangabad.

At Panderpore also there was not much rush and our turn came within 20 minutes. There also we hired some pundits and did special pooja in front of both, Vithal Ji and Rukmani ji.

Panderpore has a wonderful temple and is about 300 Km from Shirdi.

On our way to Panderpur it was 11 o‘clock and Mrs Gupta started her recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani in the car itself. As soon as she finished her recitation her lap was filled with Udi. This was not the first time that Udi had come in her lap in the moving car. On several other occasions now that Baba has blessed her with lots of Udi in her lap. Baba is with her all the time and that is why she does not bind herself to some place to do the Sai Amrit Vani. To us this Leela of Baba is so much that, all the other leelas look minor to us.

From Panderpore we went to Akkalkot for Sri Samarth Maharaj. There we had very good Darshan and the temple is also very powerful, giving a very religious feeling. It was 6:30 PM by this time, but our son decided to drive us to Hyderabad rather than staying there for the night. We reached Hyderabad by 12:30 night.

For the next 5 Thursdays Group recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani, will be done in Hyderabad at the same time, instead of Sidhartha Extension, New Delhi. I have sent the address of Hyderabad etc in the separate letter. However I repeat and append the same below this weeks report.

On 20th Sept, we are going to Shirdi and Panderpore and then to Hyderabad. Sai Amrit Vani on 24th will be either in Shirdi or in Paderpore. For the next 5 Thursdays thereafter Group recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani, will be done in Hyderabad at the same time, instead of Sidhartha Extension, New Delhi. I have sent the address of Hyderabad etc in the separate letter. However I repeat and append the same below this weeks report. As we will be in Shirdi with Baba. I don’t want to get disturbed there, so there will be no mails from us, this yahoogroup and no internet for some period.

Being the last Thursday of recitation before going to Shirdi/panderpore/ Hyderabad. There were lot of devotees present for the recitation and many stayed afterwards for quite some time. The Leelas of Baba were in full swing. Oozing of holy water from the charans and Udi from the photos on the walls and in the mandir, from the statue of Baba. All amazing leelas of Baba continued this Thursday also.

Mr Bassi has started sending the pious material to the devotees who have already sent the required request to him. The offer was only in the month of August. Please don’t send any new request now.

Revised program of Shirdi/Pandharpur/ Hyderabad

There is some changes to our program of Shirdi and Hyderabad. Now instead of going to Aurangabad from Shirdi, we will be visiting Pandharpur and then go to Hyderabad.

On 20^th Sept, we will be going to Shirdi and there, we will stay with Baba for Four days and three nights. There after we will be going to Hyderabad via Pandharpur and having darshan and stay at Pandharpur.

We will be reaching Hyderabad on 26^th Sept.

On Thursday the 24^th we may be travelling from Shirdi to Pandharpur and we will be doing Sai Amrit Vani either at Shirdi or at Pandharpur.

Group recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and Prayan of Sri Sai Satcharitra will be held at Hyderabad till Oct end. We will be returning back to Delhi on 3rd Nov. As such recitation of Sri Sai Amrit will not be held at Sidhartha Extension, New Delhi and will be held in Hyderabad from 1^st Oct to 29^th Oct, i.e 5 Thursdays at

We would like to mention few points for the devotees who would like to attend the recitation in person at Hyderabad.

1. Recitation will start, sharp at 11 AM and no late comers will be allowed to disturb in between. It goes upto 12:20 or so.

2. Devotee should not have any member with cough and cold or fever in their family, to avoid infection to others. It may become embarrassing for them , if they come in such condition.

3. They should NOT bring any bhog with them. Last time distribution of Prasad became very troublesome due to large gathering and many devotees bringing the Prasad. Prasad will be arranged and distributed by the organizers themselves.

4. Kids are also not allowed. As they disturb the meditation.

5. Devotees may contact on phone nos only after 11 AM and before 8 PM (IST) on any day, except Thursdays and no calls on Thursdays P L E A S E.

6. Mobiles have to be put on silent mode before entering the house.

7. Please also bring a small bottle with broad neck for the holy water if you wish to take the Jal (which oozes from the charans of Baba) with you, provided this Leela of Baba continues at Hyderabad too .

8. If you pass on this information to someone living in Hyderabad, Please pass on these requests also, to be observed.

It was a rainy Thursday and water logging all over Delhi with traffic jams.

Although Baba was in full form with all His usual leelas, His presence was there and was felt by the devotees, yet there were less devotees to enjoy it. Udi and Holy Jal ( Water) were oozing from the photos, statue and the charans of Baba. During the Aartii There was jal in the hands of Mrs Gupta, from nowhere. It was spoonful of water from nowhere. Even thinking of it raises ones hair. And it is happening.

Last week, an Eminent Vocalist and ardent devotee of Shree Sai Baba, Shailendra Bhartti, singer of ‘ Hey Dhukh Banjan’ , Sri Sai Satcharitra and Sai Atmashashtkar is sung by him attended the recitation. He shall be touring the U.S.(from the 6th.Oct.-28th. Oct.) and London(29th. Oct.-2^nd Nov.) for rendering of Sai Bhajans in temples and private Satsangs. Due to Swine flu it was announced that for the next few sessions of recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani, it will not be open to the public. We have limited capacity and we want to avoid overcrowding, which is necessary due to A/Cs on and only limited fresh air coming. No doubt when Baba is here, there should not be any scare, but we have to take precautions. Although this Thursday it was not open for public but still there were 30-35 devotees present and we had a very soothing recitation. From next Thursday it is requested that please avoid coming to Sidhartha Extension for recitation of Sai Amrit Vani if any member in the family is having cough and cold. You can join us by reciting at your home at the same time.

This Thursday again Leelas of Baba were as usual. Udi and Jal oozed usually from the Photos, Statues and Charans of Baba. The Prasad was well eaten from the box placed in front of Baba in the mandir. Devotees are well aware of the leelas of Baba here, so I am not repeating the same.

This Thursday Leelas of Baba were as usual, but the Sai devotees present for the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani were very less. Due to Swine flu it was announced that for the next two session of recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani will not be open to the public. Next Thursday again it will be restricted to the close devotees, who do not have any flu case in their family. There were only 17-18 devotees and even the main door was closed once the recitation started.

Leelas of Baba were as usual. Udi and Jal oozed usually from the Photos, Statues and Charans of Baba. The Prasad was well eaten from the box placed in front of Baba in the mandir. It was nice, calm and soothing recitation. I am not circulating the new photos as they will be repetitive and I have already posted many photos in the photo section of the yahoogroup. Mrs Gupta has got a Makrana Marble statue of Baba from Jaipur, some times ago. Although the statue is of 1 feet, but Mrs Gupta is changing the new dress every Thursday. Every week Baba is having a new dress. Baba looks very beautiful in the dresses.

Today ( 14^th Aug 2009) is Krishna JanmaAsthmi, The birthday of lord Krishna, The maker of Dwarka. Another roop of Baba. We wish all the members and all the Sai devotees a very very Happy Birthday of Lord Krishna. Happy Janmaasthmi to all.

A usual Thursday again. Udi and Jal oozed usually from the Photos, Statues and Charans of Baba. Many devotees also had Udi on them besides Mrs Gupta. The Prasad was well eaten from the box placed in front of Baba in the mandir. These partly eaten pieces of Bhog were given to the devotees who offered those bhog. This Thursday also there was no Udi on the boxes of Prasad on the table, but many devotees had the Udi on them during the recitation of Sai Amrit Vani and Prayan of Sai Satcharitra. It was again a usual Thursday of Shravan month. Udi and Jal oozed usually from the Photos, Statues and Charans of Baba. Again as last Thursday there was no Udi on the boxes of Prasad on the table, rather there were drops of water on them. But the Prasad was well eaten from the box placed in front of Baba in the mandir. These partly eaten pieces of Bhog were given to the devotees who offered those bhog. Many devotees also had water drops on them along with Mrs Gupta during the recitation of Sai Amrit Vani and Prayan of Sai Satcharitra.

I have already circulated the letters of the devotees for the prayers for 30^th July 2009, Mrs. Veena Gupta ( Veena Maa as the devotees call her) prayed for all the devotees during the Pooja and the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and when the feeling of presence of Baba was very strong. Baba is blessing and showing HIS presence in the house every day, this week. It may because of the month of Savan, On 22^nd July it was Solar Eclipse in the morning, so Mrs Gupta cleaned all the photos and statues of Baba of the Udi, in the late evening of 21^st July. On 22^nd when Baba was given the bath, Udi again started oozing from all the photos and statues in the mandir and on the walls. Other wise the Thursday was as usual for us, except that there was no udi on the boxes of Prasad on the table. Instead of Udi there were drops of water on the boxes. Many devotees and also Mrs Gupta felt the drops of water on them during the recitation of Sai Amrit Vani and the Prayan of Sai Satcharitra.

It is the month of Savan, and we have Baba’s special blessings. Udi is continuously oozing from the photos on the walls and in the mandir and the statue in the mandir. On Thursday evening, as soon as Mrs. Gupta cleaned the photos and the mandir, Udi again started oozing. I am not posting any photo this time, as I have already posted many photos in the photo section of the group.

It is also difficult to describe the feelings of so many devotees, who feel Baba in many different and some common ways and same happening together. It is a thing to feel rather than describe and seeing all the leelas before our eyes.

I would rather repeat, that Leelas of Baba are so strange that they are beyond the understanding of human beings and that is why they are leelas. There is no logic, no set pattern and you can’t predict. What to predict, it is difficult to understand them. This Thursday Udi started oozing from even Thursday itself. As Mrs. Gupta was cleaning all the photos of Baba in the evening of Thursday. It started oozing again, when the photo was in the hand itself. Although it was small in quantity. From the Prathima in the mandir Udi started oozing from Saturday. From other photos on the walls it started from Monday, as usual.

Last week I appended some photos, as honey was oozing from one of the statue, got from the Jaipur. May be due to Guru Poornima. This week there was a slight change in the setup only. Thali which was used to collect the water, oozing from the charans was replaced by a bigger one. Water used to spill over, although Mrs. Gupta used to shift water several times from the thali to other containers. I append the photo of old and the new thali. Other leelas of Baba, were the usual ones.

Leelas of Baba are so strange that they are beyond the understanding of human beings and that is why they are leelas. There is no logic, no set pattern and you can’t predict. We could not understand it. Why the Udi has started so early oozing? Normally it used to start from Monday.

Guru poornima is on 7^th July, Tuesday and we are not going to do anything publically, so all the devotees prayed to Guru along with Mrs Gupta on this Thursday. Baba also knew it and HE already blessed the devotees with the honey. Honey was oozing from the Pratima, which was recently placed in the Mandir from Jaipur. Honey started oozing in the morning at the pooja time, when Mrs Gupta was performing her pooja. I attach the few photos taken from our Mandir before the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani. In the photo falling drops of honey is quite clear.

Water from the newly acquired charans was also oozing and was being collected in the Thali. Charans were placed in the thali in the night itself and thali was found to be filled with water when we visited Baba in the morning to wish HIM good morning.

At the end Guru Vandana was sung and Finally distribution of Prasad and Udi .

Sai Satcharitra was given to three devotees, two of them came from Chandigarh and were not having it, but wanted to read it on Guru Poornima day.

Mrs Gupta also promised a devotee to give Baba’s Pratima, similar to the pratima given last week, to one devotee before Guru Poornima. On Friday she placed the pratima in the mandir and when the devotee came in the evening Udi started oozing from that pratima too. I attach the photo of this pratima also with this letter.

This Thursday was unusual for us. From the very beginning it was unusual for us. It was only Monday that the Udi started oozing from, even the statue and the photo inside the Mandir, besides the Udi oozing from the photos on the wall. We have very limited knowledge and could not make out the reason for it. It was not any important day for our family. It was not the birthday or the marriage anniversary for any one of us. The only reason we could find is that it was Somvati Amavasya on Monday.

Some time back Mrs Gupta ordered for a Pratima of Baba of Makrana Marble, in a sitting posture of Dwarka, from Jaipur. On Tuesday night we received a call from Mr. Rockey from Jaipur that he is sending the Pratima on Wednesday and I have to collect it from Bikaner House. At late evening of Wednesday the new Charans and the Pratima were cleaned. Charans were washed and put in a thali. The old charans, from which the Jal used to ooz was kept inside the mandir. Now see how Baba understand the intension of the devotee. Water oozed from the new charans in the thali and thali was filled with water and the old charans were dry. Before the start of pooja and the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani the old Charans and the Pratima made of Italian Marble were presented to the couple, who accompanied us to Hardwar and Badrinath. They took Baba to their home with full honour. It was the feeling that in that pratima Baba were smiling. This act was done before any body comes for Sai Amrit Vani as many devotees were very much eager to have these Pratima and Charans to their home.

There were very few males this Thursday for the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani, yet there was a firm and strong male voice reciting along with us. It was clearly not the voice of the males present there, as many devotees noticed it. In between there was jayekara ‘Bola Sai Nath Maharaj Ke Jay” in the same voice. This Jaykara is also not there in the cassette. Was this voice of Sai Baba HIMSELF?

After the Recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and before the Prayan of Sai Satcharitra there was a loud sound of horn of a vehicle on the road in front of our house and it diverted our attention. There was some traffic jam and the vehicle giving the horn was “Hospital on Wheels” . I saw such vehicle on the road for the first time. During the pooja on Thursday, Chapter 34 was read, It relates mainly to the illness and how Udi cured various diseases. It was a surprise how these two things are came together. Was Baba giving some indication or what, It could not be co-incidental? There were many devotees present with problems and requiring surgery, but not having the courage to go for it.

Mrs Veena Gupta does not incurage the devotees bring bhog with them as it is difficult to distribute it. One devotee bought mangoes for Baba, Mrs Gupta offered the mangoes to Baba and soon the mangoes were found to be sequesed and juice was on the lips of Baba and some near HIS feets. The devotee was so much pleased that She immediately went out to purchase more mangoes so that each devotee gets one after the pooja.

On 7th June we reached Hardwar along with another couple Mr. and Mrs Sethi on our way to Badrinath. It was Pooran Masi ( Full moon night), so there was a huge crowd of devotees to take a dip in the holy Ganga. We also had a bath on the Har ke Pauri at Hardwar and attended the Aarthi of Ganga there. It was a beautiful secne to see. In Hardwar we stayed at the Chawla Bhawan. They arranged a Ambassader car for us for Badrinath. On the 8th night we stayed at the guest house at Gopeshwar. From there Mr Batra along with his family accompanied us in another car to Badrinath. Mr Batra is an influencial political devotee and made arrangements of our visit to Badrinath. On 9th we had attended the Aartee of Badrinath Vishal , in the evening . In fact we had the opportunity to attend the Aartee twice on that day and had very close darshan of the Badrinathji both the time. We were also offered to attend the Abhishek in the morning, but it was a difficult task as one had to sit on floor for about 2 hours, which we both are unable to do. So we got the Prasad and the dress from Badrinath ji’s Abhishek. We also had the bath in the guest house from the water from the Tapt kund. We were at Badrinath, yet we were talking about Baba, Mrs Gupta made the request to Baba to give us good darshan at Badrinath ji, which HE did. At Badrinath we were all the time talking about Baba. Kids of Mr. Batra bought some lockets of Baba there and the same were also blessed by Baba. Udi appeared on the lockets, when they were placed for the blessings.

On 10th June we started back towards Hardwar. Mr. Batra stayed there for another day. We planned that we will travel upto SriNager (In Uttarakhand) on that day and reach Hardwar by 10 the next day morning. But unfortunately due to some traffic jam we could reach only upto Rudraprayag. We spend the night at Rudraprayag and started again at 7:30 AM from there.

On 11th June at 11 AM we were on our way to Hardwar in the Car, We four started the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani in the car itself. We all started together along with Mrs. Gupta and after some time as there was no uniformity so we did it of our own silently and then did the aartee together again. There was a lot of Udi appeared in the lap of Mrs Gupta. We three were there on the rear seat and Mrs Gupta was in the middle. Baba was with us. Traveling with us. Mrs Gupta prayed for all. This was the third time that Baba has shown this Leela of giving the Udi in the moving Car during the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and Aartee. In the year 2004, we visited USA and our son was taking us to Florida from Atlanta. On Thursday at 11 AM we were travelling and the car was running at a very high speed on the highway. At 11 AM when Mrs Gupta did her recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and the Noon Aartee of Baba, Lots of Udi appeared in her lap from nowhere. Last time when we were in Goa, we were traveling to the Dugd Dara and Mrs Gupta did her recitation of Sai Amrit Vani and the Noon Aartee. Udi appeared in her lap.

We reached Chawla Bhawan in Hardwar after visiting Baba’s temple in Hardwar, At Chawla Bhawan when Evening Aatree was performed, Udi appeared on the Statue of Baba. Next day Aaloo Paratha was offered to Baba and Baba accepted a piece of it and Udi was there on the rest of it. Baba was there with us all the time, traveling with us. He does not need any conveyance, no Visa, no passport and reaches the devotees instantly.

Last week, on Thursday we were on our way to Hardwar from Badrinath and from 11 to 12 we were on the road, in the car, moving on the zig zag roads of the hills. Sorry I could not find time to write about it. I will write about it sortly.

This Thursday, was again usual for us with all the usual Leelas of Baba, Udi was oozing from different photos and pratima of Baba and holy water was oozing from the charans of Baba, so I am not repeating the details of the same. Except that during the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani, there was a laughting sound from the Cassette tape, which otherwise does not have such voice. Many devotees felt the same. The photo on the wall (face of Baba ) was also laughing. It is not one or two, but many devotees felt it. There were a large number of devotees present to recite the Sai Amrit Vani together,

I have already circulated the letters of the devotees for the prayers for 18th June 2009, Mrs. Veena Gupta ( Veena Maa as the devotees call her) prayed for all the devotees during the Pooja and the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and when the feeling of presence of Baba was very strong. Please address your requests for prayers only on email id veena_gupta_ 2000@yahoo. com and don’t bother all the 6500+ honorable members with so many letters. We will club the letters in 3 parts and circulate all the non-confidential letters to the members. Please don’t forget to mention that you will be reciting/reading or listening Sri Sai Amrit Vani with us on that Thursday (Any time, if 11AM to 12 is not possible). Letters without the (1) Names (2) place (3) Date of Thursday (4) Assurance that they will be reciting Sri Sai Amrit Vani are not included in the list of devotees. Correspondace with them individually is also not possible.

Sri Sai Amrit Vani started at 11.05 AM. Followed by brief Meditation and the prayer, Prayan of chapter 33, from Sai Satcharitra, was done. Mrs. Gupta offered prayers and thanks to Baba. Finally distribution of Prasad.
Next Group Sri Sai Amrit Vani and Prayan of Sri Sai Satcharitra on 25th June 2009 will again be held at 19A, Pocket – B, Sidhartha Extension, New Delhi 110014. Devotees interested in attending it in person may contact on phone nos. 26346942, 9868966605 or 9312494767 only after 11 AM and before 8 PM (IST) on any day, except Thursdays and no calls on Thursdays P L E A S E . They should NOT bring any bhog with them and be in time. Kids are also not allowed in the hall. Mobiles have to be put on silent mode during the Pooja. Please also bring a small bottle with broad neck for the holy water if you wish to take the Jal (which oozes from the charans of Baba) with you. (If devotees who join us in absentia, find it difficult to recite from 11 AM, they can do it, at any time, as convenient to them.)

We are going to Haridwar and Badrinath on 7^th June and Hence will be in Hardwar/Badrinath on 11^th June ( Thursday). Recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani on 11^th June will be held at any place , where we are at that time instead of Sidhartha Extension,New Delhi. We will be staying at Chawla Bhawan, Khar Khari, Near Bheem Goda in Hardwar. There will be no mails from the us/yahoogroup during this period.

There were a large number of devotees present to recite the Sai Amrit Vani together, Mr. V K Bassi, the writer/compiler of Sri Sai Amrit Vani was also present. Mr. and Mrs Ravinder Thota were there from Canada. Ritu Rao, her mother and brother from Jaipur. They are the manufactures of Sai Baba Moorties. Many devotees placed order to them for the moorties. They also brought some Pratimas of Baba for delivery. One Pratima, which was for Mrs Gupta was properly cleaned by Mrs Gupta and placed in the mandir and Baba immediately accepted the place.

Baba repeated all HIS normal Leelas this Thursday also without any change from the last Thursday, so I am not repeating the same.

We are going to Haridwar and Badrinath on 7^th June and Hence will be in Hardwar on 11^th June ( Thursday). Recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani on 11^th June will be held at Hardwar instead of Sidhartha Extension, New Delhi.

We have not decided the place although we will be staying at Chawla Bhawan, Khar Khari, Near Bheem Goda.

Last Thursday Baba really scared us. There was no Udi from the photo and the Statue in the Mandir till Wednesday. Usually Udi starts oozing from the photo and the Statue in the Mandir from Wednesday morning. This time, may be to compensate, Udi from the Statue and the photo started oozing from Tuesday evening itself. Although Udi was oozing from the photos on the walls from Monday.

Baba repeated all HIS normal Leelas this Thursday also without any change from the last Thursday, so I am also repeating the same.

This Thursday the 28^th May 2009, we enjoyed the following Leelas of Baba.

1. Udi started oozing from the photos on the wall from Monday and also forming the words `RAM' `SHAM' and `OM' on one of them. Udi from the Statue and the photo in the mandir, also started oozing from Tuesday and Hindi words `RAM' `SHAM' `OM' were formed with Udi on the photo.

2. Holy Water started oozing from the Charans from Thursday early morning, A thali was place below the charans on Wednesday night itself. This Thali was also emptied several times and it was getting filled up again. The taste of water here was also similar to gulab jal and kewara mix. This water was also given to devotees .

3. On Thursday as soon as Bhog was offered, it was duly accepted by Baba. We noticed that the Bhog , which was placed before HIM was partially eaten.

4. A piece of Boondi Ladoo was there in the Bhiksha Patra.

5. The feeling of Presence of Baba was very strong during the recitation of Sai Amrit Vani, Pooja and Prayer.

6. Photos, papers and documents, all which were placed before Baba, were blessed with Udi on them.
